Weather

  The weather can be a bit tricky this time of the year. The average daytime temperature is in the low 80's and the average nighttime temperature is in the mid 40's. Rain is rare, however, we will be at high altitudes in the mountains and rain showers are not uncommon year round.  In the past, we have had temperatures in the low 100's in the daytime and the high 20's in the night and early morning.   It is recommended that you bring clothing to be comfortable in freezing conditions as well as rain gear. We will keep this page updated as we get closer to the event.

Site Logistics

• Main Campsite
  Camping, Pot Luck and Workout Area
  The Campsite and location of the workout is approximately 5500 feet in elevation.  It is in a valley surrounded by hills that can go as high as 8900 feet.  Temperatures can range from the mid 80's in the daytime to the High 20's at night.
• Friday Evening
  2nd Degree thru 5th Degree  Ceremony
  The exact location has not been decided as of now. The current prospects are all above 7000 feet and are on the east face of the valley. This should mean direct sunlight until sundown
• Saturday Morning
  1st Degree & Above Ceremony
  The current site overlooks the valley edge and is at 6000 feet. It can be very cold if the wind blows. You should dress accordingly

The bottom line, plan for anything and it will be a good time for all. We are only 45 minutes from home, so we can always go back home and then come back the next day.
